This qualification is suitable for those working or looking to work with babies and children, or individuals who are looking to gain comprehensive paediatric emergency first aid knowledge. 

Competence - our training approach is based around 'describe, demonstrate, do...then do again under stress'. By gradually ramping up the pressure in a safe learning environment, we increase candidate bandwidth, knowledge retention, skills and competence to effectively deal with life threatening situations for real.

Confidence - our training is engaging, immersive and hands on to actually equip learners with the  confidence required to alleviate suffering and save lives. 

Compliance - our training ensures organisations meet their legal requirements for the provision of first aid in the workplace. 

This is a one day course. We usually operate between 08.30 - 15.30 but can be flexible around client needs.

• Learners should be a minimum of 14 years to undertake this qualification.

• Learners between 14-16 years can undertake the qualification, however they should not be relied upon by employers to be a sole emergency first aider.

• Learners must have sufficient command of the English language to understand and undertake the recommended assessment methods for this qualification.

• Learners must demonstrate first aid procedures as part of their assessment, including providing CPR to a casualty on the floor. Therefore, learners must be physically capable of performing CPR on the floor.

• There are no other pre-requisites for this qualification.
